Location

This vacation house is located at an elevation of 1800 meters above sea level, right on the Zillertal High Road and about 300 meters from the summit terminal of the gondola lift. Please note that the lifts only run in winter!  In summer, this area is all about idyllic peace and quiet... during which time, you are just a 15- to 20-minute drive up the Zillertal High Road from your vacation home-away-from-home. The road is paved and in good condition (however, there is a toll charge).

Close to the house are several mountain inns (open during summer and winter seasons).

You will find yourself in the heart of a hiking paradise, wonderfully suited for a family getaway! Close to the hut is also a small reservoir.

The High Road is open from around mid May until early November, while the lifts run from the beginning of December until around mid April. During the winter season, the hut can only be reached by gondola lift! Please note: Be sure to check the lift schedule in adavnce (arrive early!). You will be able to load your luggage onto a freight gondola and have it transported to the top (29 Euro charge); once at the top, a Skidoo will bring it straight over to the house (20 Euro).

Located on the ground floor is a separate apartment, which is not included in the rental price.
