Welcome to Berghaus Stumm - your ski & mountain hut
Completed in 2009, Berghaus Stumm stands on a hill at 1100 m above sea level, high above the Zillertal valley floor. This vacation house is in the heart of the Zillertal, affording panoramic views that are sunny and more beautiful than you could ever imagine. The Hochzillertal - Hochfügen ski area is directly across on the opposite side of the valley.
As far as it's location, it is very much a mountain or ski hut, but in terms of its comforts, it's definitely a vacation home.
It enjoys a completely peaceful, idyllic setting in the midst of Zillertal's alpine world. The house provides plenty of room for 2-12 people, and is ideal for families with children. Step outside the front door and set right out on a hike through this magnificent alpine world.
We only rent to one group at a time, which means you will always have the house completely to yourself.
We want Berghaus Stumm to maintain the character of a mountain hut, yet still offer the comforts of a modern vacation house. The Stumm features 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, a garden, several balconies, sauna etc. Whether summer or winter, skiers or non-skiers, a vacation spent at Berghaus Zillertal is always guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience for each and every nature-lover.
The hiking path leading to the Hamberg is also reachable right from the house. Several pleasant refreshment opportunities are also located nearby.
You should be aware how close we are to the big ski areas. The slopes of Hochzillertal - Hochfügen are within easy reach on the ski shuttle (5-minute walk to the stop). But also the Zillertal Arena, Spieljoch and Penkenbahn are just a short drive away as well. And you will be barely 12 km from the Adventure Pool in Fügen.
